This is the Palkhi procession of the Idol of Shri Dattaraj Kavishvar which took place at the end of the Bhagvat Saptah at Cheul - Alibaug.
The Bhagvat Saptah was organized by Appa (Shri Prakash Kavale) at his home town(Cheul) which started on Thursday 11th Aug 2011 and Ended on Thursday 18th Aug2011 in the Holy month of Shravan.

'Pakya' or 'Pakdi' urrf (alias) Prakash Kavale is what this jovial actor is known as amongst his friends and contemporaries like Rajesh Deshpande, Sanjay Narvekar, Paddy, Mohan Khambete, Uttung Shelar, Anil Khare, Sanchit Vartak and so on...
Prakash Kavale is an elective bachelor who stays near Shivaji park Mumbai along with his brother, sister-in-law and his nephew Rushikesh. He is an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha.
His opening lines on a phone call will inevitably sing ‘Moooraya’ a shortened form of “Ganpati Bappa Moooraya” which are the slogans that you hear during a Ganesh Idol procession or the vehement praises sung at the conclusion of a venerating Aarti of Ganpati Bappa! - The Lord of Knowledge and the saviour from turbulent times.
